What’s included

  • Picking or bypass first — drilling is the last resort, and you’ll know why if it comes to that.
  • All common residential locks: deadbolts, knob locks, smart deadbolts, mailbox and interior doors.
  • Aluminum sliders and Florida-room doors — standard issue on the lakeside bungalows near Starke Lake and the 1960s–80s houses off Maguire Road, and their latches age differently from a deadbolt. We open them without wrecking the track.
  • If the lock is damaged on entry, we can rekey or replace it in the same visit.
  • Proof-of-residence check — it protects you and everyone in the building.

What moves the price

  • The lock itself — a standard deadbolt is quicker than a high-security cylinder.
  • The time of day and how far out you are — the 408 emptying onto West Colonial at rush hour is a different trip from a run across Bluford Avenue.
  • Whether extra hardware is needed afterwards (new cylinder, keys).

Typical range: $85–$150. It’s a range, not a quote — the exact number is fixed on the phone before we head out.

Quick answers

Can you open it without damaging the door?

In most cases yes — we pick or bypass the lock. If drilling really is the only way, we tell you before doing it and quote the replacement too.

Do I need to prove it’s my home?

Yes. An ID with the address, a piece of mail, or anything similar. It’s quick, and it’s there to protect the people inside.

I rent near the downtown blocks by the lake. Is that a problem?

No — we open tenant doors all around the Starke Lake streets and the older blocks off Bluford Avenue. Your proof of residence (lease, ID, mail) covers it. If your building has its own rule about contractor visits, we’ll deal with it when we arrive; it rarely holds anyone up.

How fast can you reach me in Ocoee?

Inside the city — Bluford Avenue to Maguire Road, Ocoee-Apopka Road to Clarke Road — it’s usually a short run; the 408 and West Colonial add time at rush hour. Call and you’ll get a real ETA before you decide.

The key snapped inside the lock. Is that still a lockout job?

Yes — broken-key extraction and non-destructive entry are the same visit. If the cylinder is damaged, rekeying or replacing it is quoted on the spot before anything starts.
