Car key replacement in Ocoee, FL
One key lost, one key dead, one key the dealership quotes a week and a tow for — the van carries the cutting and programming machines, so the new key is made where the car sits.

What’s included
- Mechanical keys cut on site for the older trucks and daily drivers all over west Orange County.
- Transponder chip keys cut and paired to the immobilizer — the engine starts on the first turn or we keep working.
- Laser-cut high-security keys for the newer makes, cut with the right machines rather than filed by eye.
- Proximity push-to-start fobs generated and paired — the van carries the equipment the dealership quotes a tow for.
- All-keys-lost jobs decoded on site: no working key needed, proof of ownership required, priced honestly before work starts.
What moves the price
- The key type — mechanical, transponder, laser-cut or proximity; each is a different machine and a different price.
- Whether a working key exists — all-keys-lost needs decoding and costs more than a copy.
- The year, make and model — this is why we ask for all three before quoting.
Priced by key type: mechanical $90–$140, transponder chip $130–$220, laser-cut $140–$240, proximity push-to-start $180–$320, all-keys-lost decoding $150–$280. Year, make and model gets the exact number on the phone.

Quick answers
I lost my only key. Can you make one without it?
Yes — all-keys-lost jobs are handled on site: the van decodes the lock or the immobilizer and generates a new key. It costs more than a copy ($150–$280 range) and that difference is quoted up front.
Why is a proximity fob more expensive?
Push-to-start fobs carry the higher hardware cost and deeper programming — $180–$320 against $90–$140 for a mechanical key. Dealers quote the same gap and add a tow; we don’t.
How long does it take?
A mechanical key is minutes; transponder and laser-cut work is usually under an hour on site. Have the year, make and model ready and the ETA comes with the quote.
Will the dealership recognize your key?
The key is cut to the factory code and paired to your immobilizer — it works exactly like the original. The dealership won’t be able to tell, and future dealer service is unaffected.
What documents do you need?
Proof of ownership — registration, insurance or the title, in your name. It protects every car owner, including you.
