Car key programming in Ocoee, FL
The blade is easy; the chip is the job. Key programming pairs the transponder to your immobilizer so the engine actually starts — done in the van with the right machines, for most makes and model years.

What’s included
- Standard transponder syncing — the chip inside the key paired to the immobilizer so the engine recognizes it.
- Remote head fobs programmed with working lock, unlock and trunk buttons.
- Proximity push-to-start pairing, tested on every function before we leave.
- Customer-provided blanks programmed honestly: if the blank you bought online is the wrong variant, we tell you before billing the job.
- EEPROM and advanced immobilizer resets for the jobs that need bench-level access — quoted as the specialist work they are.
What moves the price
- The system generation — basic chip syncing sits at the floor; EEPROM and ECU work sits at the ceiling.
- Whether the key is ours or customer-provided — blanks you bought yourself cost less to program, if the variant is right.
- The vehicle’s make and model — some immobilizers pair in minutes, some need the long procedure.
Priced by job: transponder syncing $75–$120, remote head fobs $85–$140, proximity pairing $110–$190, customer-provided blanks $70–$110, EEPROM and immobilizer resets $150–$280.

Quick answers
Can you program a key I bought online?
Often yes — customer-provided blanks program for $70–$110 when the variant matches your vehicle. If the blank is wrong for your make, we tell you before billing anything beyond the diagnosis.
The car starts sometimes and not others. Is that programming?
Intermittent starts are usually a worn chip read or a failing immobilizer antenna, not a lost pairing. We diagnose first — sometimes it’s a $75 fix, sometimes it’s an antenna part, and you hear which before work starts.
What is EEPROM work and when is it needed?
Some immobilizers can’t be paired through the OBD port and need the module read at chip level — bench work, $150–$280. It’s the specialist tier of the trade and quoted as such.
After programming, will my old key still work?
Your choice: we can leave the old keys active or wipe them from the system — useful after a lost-key scare, when you want the missing key dead even though the lock never changed.
Do you program push-to-start cars?
Yes — proximity pairing ($110–$190) covers the push-to-start systems of most makes and model years, done where the car sits.
